Awesome Costa Rica
From Honors Trip 2007 in La Fortuna, Costa Rica on Mar 03 '07
After our hassle with the airport and airlines we finally arrived in Costa Rica!
Our first visit to Monteverde was incredible. We went on a sky trek and canopy tour. I was so scared to let them hook me up to a harness and sail hundreds of feet about a rainforest. But I did it....and it was AMAZING! All of the natural beauty and blanket of green left me in awe. It is amazing to think that God created all of this beauty for us to enjoy. It is also sad that tourism and men are destroying some of this land and causing its destruction.
I am having a wonderful time and I am so glad we finally made it here. Today we did a coffee tour...it was great. Tomorrow we head to see the Arenal Volcanoe and Hot Springs. I am really excited. This is turning out to be a true adventure!
