Monday I had class most of the day.  Tom caught up on sleep (he slept until 12:15!!) and then we went to lunch together.  Tom fell in love with this sandwich shop that we have near our school here in Grenoble.  It makes sandwiches to order on half of a baguette, so they're huge.  Monday night we went to a Mexican restaurant and had fajitas.  They were pretty good, and then we just kind of hung out.

Tuesday was another relaxing type day and we went to Geant which is a big grocery store in Grenoble to get stuff for our "American Thanksgiving".  It was an interesting experience but we managed to get all of the ingredients and got on the tram to Margot's apartment so that we could get cooking.  Tom really helped a lot in preparing everything, we made him peel probably 30 potatoes and he was a really good sport about it.  We had mushroom stuffing, turkey breasts, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, rolls, and some other things that Kiki and Valerie brought.  There was about 14 or so of us and Tom got a chance to get to know some of my friends in the progam at Grenoble Ecole de Management.

I've never been there before so it was nice to go somewhere that was new for both of us

Wednesday I had class again, and then Tom and I went to the sandwich place again.  We decided to go up to the Bastille, which overlooks all of Grenoble and the Alps.  I've never been there before so it was nice to go somewhere that was new for both of us.  We rode up on the telepherique and then just took some nice pictures of the scenery.  We walked around downtown Grenoble and did some shopping too which was nice.  We had to hurry though because our train left for Swizterland at 5:30pm.
