London home to 'fab' fashion, the unruly Monarchy...and now home to Madonna (sorry but I just had to insert that here!!!). This was probably my 8th visit to London but my first visit to the Buckingham Palace. Sacrilegious I know, but then wait till you actually see Buck Palace and then it doesn't seem so bad. Oh but I do love London with its upper stiff lipped class, their clipped manner of talking (makes you think all Brits are snobs...but perhaps they are), their dauntingly expensive black cabs and number one favorite cuisine of tikka masala!!!!

How can one not adore their red double decker buses (unless you are trying to get  somewhere), their fabulous high street fashions and even their 'chavs' (which in the States would be used to describe trailer trash in the city???, you know baby mama and all that).

On this trip we tried to do the touristy stuff a little more but between friends, clubs and Nigerian restaurants there wasn't much time left to do a lot of sightseeing. I guess we will leave Stone Henge, the inside of Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London for visit number 9 or so.....
