Quito, Ecuador

Last night Annas sister, Marivelle, had a couple from Italy visiting. They are on vacation in Ecuador. Anna, Marivelle, myself and the Italian couple went out for drinks. Four languages were spoken. The Italian man spoke Italian and French. The Italian woman spoke Italian and a little English. Anna and Marivelle only speak Spanish and as we all know I speak English and very little Spanish. Somehow we all communicated. Anna and Marivelle actually understood a lot of the Italian. I guess it is very similar. (not to me but thats another story) When something didnt translate from Italian to Spanish he would tell his girlfriend, she would tell me in English and I would translate in Spanish. At one point I got so confused I was talking to Marivelle in English and then realized what I was doing and said, why am I talking to you in English then switched back to Spanish. Everyone was confused and we were all laughing about it. We had a great time. The Italian couple was very nice.

Tomorrow after school I am leaving town to go to the beach. Its a four hour drive. Marivelle and her husband have a house there than sleeps twenty people...yes, 20 people. So both familys are going. Annas family and Marivelles family and me. I had to go out and buy cheap clothes because its really warm on the beach and I dont have Miami clothes with me. Fortunately, I did bring a bathing suit. It should be a lot of fun.

Speaking Italian, French, Spanish & English

Tomorrow I am going to lunch to try guinea pig. I will let you know what it tastes like..chicken! (everything tastes like chicken)

I probably wont update my adventures until Monday. So have a great weekend.
