Horseshoe Bay

WOW!!

Horseshoe bay was lovely and had amazing views. We visited here after Cypress Mountain as they are close by. The weather was nice so there were quite a few people out and about enjoying the sun. the BC ferry port is at horseshoe bay and you can take the ferry to Vancouver island, which takes about and an hr and a half.

The mountains looked magnificent as they were so close to the water and are capped with snow, it was breathtaking.

Whytecliff

We took a drive through the small country lanes (surrounded by massive houses!) from Horseshoe bay to Whytecliff. This was situated right on the tip of the most North Westerly point of Vancouver. We arrived just as the sun was setting over the mountains which was a spectacular view. There was a park and some people were having bbqs! i didnt think it was that warm!! There was an uninhabited island out in the water as well which you could access by walking over the rocks in the water. This was a lovely end to a lovely day!!
