We decided to treat ourselves to a little luxury, so booked ourselves into Hosteria Izhcayluma. A lovely mountain side paradise overlooking the village of Vilcabamba in the famous valley of longevity. Apparently people here live until a ripe old age. Must be all the exercise. There´s nothing but steep here. The hostel provides hiking maps and we did a gently 3 hour warm up on Tuesday (ow) before the main event on Wednesday, a 7 hour hike to a waterfall and back. Ow ow ow. We´re sure some slopes were 95º. And we were attacked by a dog. Fantastic view though.

Today we spent lazing around in our cabina, enjoying the views from our balcony hammock and a full body massage. Great stuff.

Now we´re nice and relaxed for our race through Peru.
