Our next stop is a town called Tours. Strange name for a town but we stopped here for lunch. It was very busy with people buzzing around. There were plenty of cafes and brassieres. We decide we will head into McDonalds for a drink. Here we found it interesting to see there was a booth outside McDonalds for those not eating in and just want to grab a meal to go. It was like a drive thru booth by foot.

We then also noticed that the toilets in McDonalds require a code to use it. So when you purchase something from the store, the code is on your receipt. A pan if you just wanted to use their toilets and didn’t need a feed.

Wish I had more time in Tours

It is noticeable there are plenty young school kids all over town and it was told that all school students here get half day off on Wednesday but then they go to school Saturday morning. I think id rather the full Wednesday.

After the stop over and a quick browse around the city, we hop back onto the coach to get to our final destination which Bourdeaux. We pass through all the vineyards on the drive there. We bypass a town called Cognac as well.
