This is our seventh annual sister ski week and our fourth year returning to Park City, Utah. We love the snow and the convenience of it's location. My sister flies in from the east and I fly in from the west. I tell her we are meeting in the middle, but this really isn't true. The flight from California is only about 2 hours.

Park City is only about a half hour from the Salt Lake City Airport. A $67 round trip shuttle ride. Once there, free shuttle buses transport you anyplace you'd want to go. No rental car required.

Downtown Park City is quaint. You have a plethora of restaurant choices, a myriad of art galleries to browse and a wide variety of accommodation choices.

Three huge mountain resorts cradle the downtown area - Deer Valley, a skiers paradise (no boarders allowed), centrally located Park City Mountain Resort and the Canyons.

This year our snow karma wasn't exactly the best it's been. Apparently the Tuesday before we arrived, it had poured all day. That made for some crusty (read icy) skiing. The first hour or two on fresh groom was good, but soon thereafter that got skied off and we had to rely on our east coast ski training to chatter down the slopes. We had about a foot of snow overnight for our last day of skiing. How fun and thigh-burning to get down now - weight shifted way back!

We stayed at the Woodside Inn, a B&B, again this year. The breakfast is hearty, the location convenient, and the happy hour snacks filling enough to substitute for dinner.

Not wanting to entirely miss out on Park City's fine restaurants, we did enjoy great meals at 350 Main, Cafe Terigo and Good Karma. (See attached reviews.)

We had a great time. Looking forward to next year!
