A beautiful town

Bad Gastein was the only place I could find near Salzburg because of the Euro Cup. The ride down on the train was beautiful, all the towns are surrouned by mountains and Bad Gastein is no excepetion. I'm wished a pleaseant holiday by the main in my cabin, he was friendly, and asked how I was ect.

I check into the hostel and go into the dorm, it's mostly empty apart from a few girls doing some stretches. There names are Ramsey (not her first name) and Kara, pronouced Care-a. They had just been cycling for about 7 hours and ached alot. They are with a guy called Joey, he's from the south but convinced he doesn't have a southeren accent. The funniest thing I have ever heard, I thought it was a joke when he asked me if I could tell he was from the south People generally come here in the winter fro the winter sports. The ski life is just across the road. The hostel itself is awesome, especially as the station is liteally across the road from it!!

As its the summer the town and the hostel itself is pretty quiet. But its cool as I meet loads of people. Emerelad and Suna (who I will be meeting up with in London as she will be living there for a while).I ran into Andrew who I gave some Ibuprofen to in Vienna, he was like it's Ibuprofen girl!! It seems I'm always running into people I have already met. We watched Sound Of Music, oh yes we're in Austria, near Salzburg, we had to plus there were some big fans there. During the Swedish game we visit the pub and cheer fro Sweden. Lots of people in the town are originally from there. They win, everyone goes wild of course. If I can have an awesome time when the town is this quiet imagine what it's like in winter.
