Service, the final stage of training. It was suppose to be the most enjoyable stage, but few in the class found it to be the case. The instructors were unreasonable; found to be so by the majority of the class. Fortunately the material was interesting. We learned the Emirates procedures on cabin service. How to talk to people, and how to deal with concerns and the answers to all the crazy questions we might get stumped with. Most of it was done on the Service Simulator. This is a room built to feel as if you were on a plane. We ran lots of mock ups. Most of the time these simulated flights had demanding passengers, or other trainees, trial by fire and all.

The graduation was good, there were three class graduating at the ceremony, we have all got to know each other fairly well over the last 6 weeks. It will be weird not seeing them from now on. But I organized a dinner for everyone last night and we all got to celibate together on last time. I will let the pictures do the talking…
