Monday we got a later start and headed to the MoMA. Beautiful art everywhere. We we're pretty lazy after that and spent all day walking around the Jacqueline Onassis Reservoir and checked out a little of Upper Manhattan.

We left to meet Darling in the subway to go to Burmese food in Lower Manhattan. We got off our cool subway car and ascended into a buselling Grand Central Station. I was overwhelmed. I started to bump into people while staring at a mural of constellations on the ceiling. Crazy. We found Darling and headed back down to the subway. Hot and muggy those subways are.

We met up with Jake and had the most delicious dinner. Rich and interesting. Later we popped into a hat store and goofed off for a bit. We walked by some more shops checking out the vendors and sampling their merchandise. I bought a bag.

Later we left the hotel fairly late and headed to the Meat Packing District to hit up a club Scott said was hoppin' on Monday nights. We took a subway, got off, and entered an area of cuteness and charm adorned with cobblestone streets and rustic buildings. The club, Cielo, was a stark contrast. Giant tubes ran horizontal around the entire club flashing yellow and orange lights every other minute or so. We sucked back some shots of Tequila. The DJ that was spinning Scott and I have seen before, and not long after we started dancing he played a cool mellow version of Low Rider. An awesome start! Everyone was dancing and getting down with the disco ball twirlin' and strobe lights flashin'. We got a couple drinks and danced 'till around three. Scott closed his tab of four drinks and two shots for a total of a hundred dollars. A steep price but a wealth of fun.
