as planned, i woke up this morning, had breakfast at the hostel (coffee, juice, bread, butter, jam and croissant), and then went to drop off my backpack at the new hostel....that hostel is actually very nice.....it is the nicest one i have been to so far.......there are 8 of us in the room (Canadian, Irish, Ausie, 2 asians, and 2 i don't know from where)......only 2 are girls incase you are wondering.......the room is so big, you can actually walk in it!!! the shower is clean and it shared by the 8 of us only!!! i am telling you, it is luxurious

anyway, the rest of the plan was to go see the Chateau De Versailles....it is about 40 minutes train ride west of Paris......i met wajnaa at one of the stations and we were able to get to the palace with only one wrong connection.....

Alone Zee = Lets go

now, i haven't seen many/any palaces before, but that should be what a palace is.....it is away from the city's smog and noise, surrounded by a huge beautiful and green garden and as you might expect, the palace itself is massive.........in short, it is the dream palace that Louie the 14, 15, or 16th (i cant remember which one) wanted to build for himself and for the royal throne of France.....the construction was stopped due to some war but it was later continued by the other Louei's.......the palace is mostly known for The Hall of Mirrors.....and it this long hall way with mirrors on the left side and glass on the right side, so all the beautiful garden imagery is seen on the left side and it gives the hall more depth (can you imagine it??).......really shiny and expensive looking chandeliers were extended from the ceiling along the hall.........we saw the King and Queen's bedrooms, meeting rooms, painting room, guest rooms and many more.........every room is more beautifully decorated than the other ones......most of the ceilings were painted with amazing imageries (mostly from  the greek dynasties).......the palace really looks like the residence of kings and queens....there were also many paintings there, but nothing surpassed the ones i already saw in the Luvre......oh and the king had his own opera house in the palace...

we headed back to the city, to see the Notre Dam from the inside......it is the biggest church i have ever seen (even bigger than MEBC)......actually, it is one of the odd buildings that is actually bigger from the inside than what it looks from the outside.....it is so tall and deep and old....it really is something to see and admire.......my personal take on it: it is nothing more than nicely laid bricks.....a church is not a church without the people!

after that, we walked aimlessly for about an hour and a half to find the Pompidou which is that weird factory looking building that i thought it was a museum.......it actually is a public library with a sections for the contemporary art....so i wasn't totally off......it was really neat........those frenchmen, they love details and architecture........outside the building there was one of those comedians doing some comedy show.....it was funny and people were everywhere........Oh, before that, i had a crepe with mushrooms, ham and cheese.......the ham tasted uncooked but i fear that was what it was supposed to taste like!.......we did more walking afterward

wajnaa left home, but i stayed behind........i sat infront of the Cathedral for some time and then walked a bit more and headed home.......my feet were crying

i will be taking a shower soon and it is my last Paris day tomorrow.......will see how it goes

please continue praying for me..........

miss you all (oh wow, i am becoming soft!....i am showing emotions!!!)
