Arrived at Resort

We finally made it to a resort! Dad took good care of us. The view is amazing from the Hilton. We overlook the clear water of Thailand with mountains surronding the resort. Christa and I have a better view form our room than Mom and Dad.  After the plane landed we took a cab to our resort.  When we drove by, we saw cows in the middle of the roads, little shops on the side of the road, and many beautiful temples.  When we pulled up the the gates of the Hilton the security checked underneath the cab with a mirror. The resort has lots of pools with water slides so I'm sure we will go on those tomorrow. The rooms have interesting fruit and orchids all about and smell so tropical and warm.  The towels were formed into 2 swans kissing with an orchid in the middle and the wash clothes were formed into an elephant. Christa says the maids are "towel genies."  It's hard learningnot to point. Also instead of waving to say hello you bow with your hands together as if you were praying.  It's a unique culture and I can't wait to go out into the town tomorrow.
