We arrived in Dublin at 9am, we caught the early flight so that we would have a full day. Our first task was to make our way into the city, and to find our hostel. We made our way outside the terminal to where the busses were. It was going to cost 6euros for a one way ticket to get into the city, but they had a 3day rambler pass for 11euro that allowed you to use any dublinbus within 3 days. Great deal, especially for the fact that we were only there for 3 days.
The bus ride took about 20-25mins to get to our stop. Our hostel was 50feet away. We couldn't have asked for a better location I don't think. We were a bit early for check in so we were going to see if we could drop our bags off. The friendly staff informed us that we could have our room early, as it was not used the night before. So we dropped off our bags and made our way into town to get some food.

The prices in Dublin are a bit steep, but do remember, it is a major tourist destination. Two out of ten people that we saw were actually Irish! Our breakfast cost about 8euros each, oh well. Next we made our way to the Christ Cathedral, and Dublinia. I'm not sure what it costs for each of the entry fees, but together it was 11euros. The Cathedral was amazing. It has undergone massive renovation so it was a mix between very old, and quite new. An interesting contrast. They have even converted the tomb area below into areas that you can walk through. The best part, was that they allowed pictures inside the church!

We then made our way across the street to Dublinia, which is all about Dublin's Viking history. I would say it is a museum, but that wouldn't be fair. It was very child friendly as you were allowed to touch a lot of the exhibits. It was also very informative. The entire self guided tour took us about an hour and a half to go through everything.
For dinner that evening we went to the famous O'Sheas, and we were not disappointed. For an average of 10euros a meal, you could have a roast beef dinner, irish stew, or even a burger if you wanted. The meal sizes were quite generous, and the atmosphere is exactly what you would want. Great find!

After dinner we were pretty tired so we made our way back to the hostel for the night.
