Happy 4th in Korčula!

Well we finished up our stay on Hvar and took a ferry and a bus to the island of Korčula. Again it's gorgeous. have been to three islands in the last 3 days and they are all awesome and different I couldn't pick a favorite although most people pick Kočula. We went to the agency that rents out private rooms which is the main form of accomodation in Croatia and it was VERY expensive and we remembered there was a hostel on the island as well which we managed to find and it was a third of the price! I love that since Croatia is killing my budget!

Walked around Korčula town and up a couple towers, one for sunset and just chilled out. I meet a cool old Croatian dude while I was reading on a rock and he basically walks out of his house, crosses the road, climbs down some rocks and gets to swim in the sea with an awesome view back towards the town...all the while catching his fish for dinner!

After a yummy wrap...I'm so sick of pizza that's all I've been eating everyday as there is a pizza place every five feet (not an exaggeration!) we watched the germany vs. Italy World Cup game with the entire hostel and went out to some clubs to celebrate The Fouth of July after Germany's sad loss in the last two minutes of the game! It's great to be in Europe for the World Cup as everyone here is just obsessed with it, it's on everywhere! All I was missing was some fireworks!!!
