We are living in Dumbarton, which is about 15min or so outside of Glasgow. We are living in a victorian mansion with Meg's mom and sister.

We had plans to be here for 2 years but due to customs/visa problems we are cutting our trip by half. This is going to limit the amount of places we are going to be able to visit, but we are still going to try and fit as many trips in as possible before we come home.

Our house itself was built in 1889

We both have jobs working for Elaine's cleaning company. Not a job I would brag about, but it does give us the money we need to do all the things we want to do. Plus, we have the freedom of taking time off whenever we need. This makes planning trips much easier as we dont have to book the time off months in advance.

Dumbarton is a great town, which is on the smaller side, with a town centre that consists of one street. All the houses are quite old and very big. It is an area that was lived in by all the wealthy ship builders over 100 years ago. Our house itself was built in 1889, and its not even the oldest in the area. Fascinating to see these buildings still standing, and being lived in as well.
