We spent two very nice days in the cute little city of Brugge.  We would highly recommend to anyone a trip to Brugge right around Easter.  Although we had not planned it, being in Belguim (where they happen to make Belgian chocolate), around Easter is a very very good idea.  We spent two days wandering around the small center part of town where there is a nice Michelangelo sculpture, a few beautiful churches, and lots and lots of chocolate.  Did I mention we ate some very good chocolate?

Oh, we also took a nice walk through the park where there were several very pretty windmills.

(P.S.  Take a look back at some of our entries from Thailand and India as we were finally able to add some photos and update the stories.)

I would like to get permission to use a photograph by "Megan and David" of the Madonna and Child sculpture by Michelangelo. This picture was taken in Brugge (Bruges) Belgium. This is from their "trip around the world in under 80 days," Spring, 2007. Our church choir is making a CD, and we would like to use this photo for cover art.
