Farewell New Zealand

We started off our last full day in NZ with a visit to “Puzzling World” just outside Wanaka. This super-fun tourist attraction includes a large two-storey outdoor maze (and yes we got quite lost in it!) No cheese rewarded us in the end; instead we visited the “illusion rooms”. As the name suggests, basically a bunch of mind-warping illusions similar to exhibits at the Ontario Science Center. Sorry it’s hard to explain – you have to see it for yourself. Suffice to say we were highly entertained!

We finished out the day with our flagship activity: driving for hours and stopping at a few roadside attractions. A very fitting end to our NZ adventure! Back in Christchurch for the night, then we’re off to Oz.
