Patti and Flynt's Italian Wedding

My friend Patti walked up the steps to Ravello's only Duomo (church) in her

beautiful wedding dress to the cheers and seranading of townsfolk and tourists

alike. As she reached the top, she turned around, waved, and cried out

'Arrividerchi!' and they all broke out in applause. Her enormous smile was classic.

We travelled into southern Italy for the wedding of our friends, Patti and Flynt

from Denver. The ceremony was beautiful and intimate, complete with a church

bell finale. We were treated to our classiest Italian dinner at their reception

in a beautiful hotel under a fresco and overlooking the Amalfi Coast.

What a surreal feeling to be in such an amazing and foreign place with

familar friends.

Congratulations Patti and Flynt! And in the words of the bride, 'Arrividerchi!'
