I got to London Gatwick airport by over-land train from London Bridge. I completely forgot about the stupid liquids rule on planes so I had to ditch my shampoo at the check-in. They had duty-free shops within the Gatwick airport so I bought shampoo there at Boots (jessica's store!). I was luckily smart to hide my toothpaste on the edge of my luggage so I didn't have to get rid of that. I'm an official toothpaste smuggler across the UK-Ireland border!
I think my round-trip ticket was about $30. And you get much more than that! I mean, sure the facilities aren't plush, snacks are not provided, and the plane's interior is offensive to the eye and touch. But I got to fly for 1.25 hours for $30! I arrived in Dublin at 10:30 PM. I bought a bus ticket for 1.70 euros into the city. The ride was uneventful and because it was dark I couldn't see anything that we were passing. Oh well, it took me 10 minutes to get to the hostel (Abraham House) from the bus stop. The bus ride was roughly 30 minutes. I checked in at my reserved spot at around 11:30 PM.
"My room" was shared with at least 10 other guys all in bunk beds. I didn't realize that that was what I had booked. We all shared one bathroom. Only one person was in bed sleeping, I presumed the others were out partying. I showered and fell asleep quickly. Of course, no pictures today, but I'm going to post some anyway since there are so many (around 200 total).
