I took this just to show people how everything in the Anne section had English, French, and Japanese writing on it. This place is flooded with Japanese tourists in the summer. A note on the wall said that the Japanese identify with Anne so much because she is an islander who has strong links to family and yet is outgoing and friendly. It's this mix of familiarity and unfamiliarity that the Japanese find intriguing.
