we made it to bangladesh in one piece. granted, the bus journey was long and included innumerable stops where we had to show our passports. 5 in total i think. maybe 6. we'd show our passport in one office, then were ushered into the next to do exactly the same thing. if i ever said that india was confusing, well i obviously had not been to bangladesh. i've been laughing since i got here, becuase i don't understand anything that's going on. the randomness includes our bus driver paying for our rickshaw to the hotel, people trying to speak to us in a language that resembles english, and i'm pretty sure is supposed to be english, but in incomprehensible, and my personal favorite, the dust storm we encountered last night, which everyone seemed to be immune to but us. it went in our eyes, our clothes, our mouths, basically everywhere. attack of the dust.
i'd love to write more, but the internet is costing me an arm and a leg because there's no middle calss here, which i will explain later.
