"Not sure if the site mentions it, but the hotel is VERY conveniently located to the Pompeii Archeological site (we recommended walking downhill to one of the first main entrances, exploring the site and finishing at Villa dei Misteries on the site map because it places you within a short, mostly downhill walk to the hotel." — source Venere
"However, if you can help it, I would not recommend spending the night in the city." — source Venere

"We arrived at the Naples airport in the evening and had reserved a cab (Project Napoli Service) that met us up and took us to the Hotel Iside (this is highly recommended rather than taking the airport bus to Naples, the train to Pompeii and then finding the hotel." — source Venere
"We highly recommend without hesitation this hotel to anyone and if we were ever travelling near again we would stay ourselves." — source Venere

"Overall quite good as a three star hotel, however Maiuri advertised itself as a 4-star hotel, but the facilities and services provided is only a 3-star level." — source Venere
"I found it to be a great hotel with very friendly staff but it was further from the pompeii excavations than I was led to believe." — source Venere

"This is a wonderful and great place above the Amalfi Coast, with a great view, very nice and clean rooms, which are very reasonable priced." — source Venere
"The location was very convenient to Pompeii and bus transportation. You need to get off at the right train station - the line from Naples to Sorrento leaves you 2KM from the hotel from which you take the local bus - otherwise get to the right Pompeii station in the "new" city which is in easy walking distance to the hotel." — source Venere

"The hotel is out of the way from the ruins, city center and most restaurants, but a small cafe at the end of the street turned out to be a local hangout and we were made to feel like part of the neighborhood." — source Venere
