• "The Pez Espada is a good hotel right on the beach and very comfortable, the down side is the dawn sunbed patrol at 7 am when mr jobsworth opens the doors to the pool area be carefull not to get crushed in the 70 somethings rush for sunbeds, the best cure for old age aches and pains i have ever seen boy can these people move." — source Venere

• "The pool area was pretty but small which was fine for us as we were out of season but I could see it getting very busy in the main summer season. It is quite a steep walk up to the main Torremolinos shopping strip and the station, so may not be suitable for someone with mobility problems looking for a very lively holiday, but the beach is 2minutes away from the hotel and there are lots of beach bars and restaurants in the area." — source Venere
