"unusual for Italy - we returned from our first days sight seeing and having had our meal out said we'd have a drink back at the hotel as we were tired from travelling we returned at 11pm to be told the bar closes at 10pm - I thought this was a bit strange also - we paid alot for our few days there and thought it a bit much not to able to have a drink at your hotel in the evening - having said that I would recommend the hotel and would stay again should we return to florence as it is very well located." — source Venere
