Traveler Photos of Santiam Pass and McKenzie Pass

The Rock from a distance - looks intimidating! (21 May 07 Smith Rock near Bend, Oregon) Contemplating the challenge - walk into Smith Rock climb (21 May 07 Smith Rock near Bend, Oregon) With gas prices going up, I was asking anyone if they could spare a dime, or a dollar, or a gallon of gas! Around Bend are numerous dormant volcanoes and lava mounds and beds. Notice the black lava ash.
