well here it has been on the 12th of march I moved out of the city center to St kilda- a suburb of mel. here theres the palace (where they have concerts- simple minds was here couple of weeks ago) and una park (admusement park) and the beach. its a nice area- cheap rent and I was just thinking I havent really explored all that much. but that get me to my next point on the 19th I got a job (cash in hand which I was really .... its supposed to be illegal for me to do it and I cant see why they wouldnt want to claim us as employees but ... whatever Im doing it and earning $ and its good easy work and I really like the people Im working with.  BUT I work in dandenong thats 45min outside the city so I travel 30min into the city on a tram (from st kilda) then train for 45min then a 10min walk. Not bad Im getting used to being a communter but it really is strange and its like over 2h a day plus 45$ a week so its ...... not sure what to think but its a job and its done after easter (my next point Im working all day (10-12h a day) thru easter. the comprimizes that you have to do to get a job around here. no one else has called me I did just get a reply from the ski hills that I applied to and will/ can have an interview on the 17th of april. so yeah that part is looking good. the  reason that I havent explored st kilda is cause Ive been working alot and by the time I got home Im dead- and my feet kill cause Im standing on cement all day. and then the time change.

never watched these guys but they were on wheels and they ... I dont know how they moved- but their instruments were all specially made and it was very cool as they went by

I love my room mates, Niamh ( chick from Ierland) that Ive hooked up with got a good reception job and will be here for her 3-4m but left my hostel cause she didnt like it. I love my roommates (both irish)and yeah its decent enough for me to live, besides the fact that I am not there too much. EXCEPT for the sweeky bed- pisses me off. And I love the people I work with- 7 girls (2german, belguim, uk, japan,...)  and three guys (aussie, uk) its really good.

church is good- Ive been faithful on sundays and I took a meditation course that was last sun and then tommarow then today I was at church all day and in the moring I took a "working with the poor" and then had lunch and afternoon I took "angels and demons" which both were awesome and now I need time to think write and dwell. so both karen and sharon expect letters cause I have lots of thoughts going thru my head.

Now the city of mel is a really interesting place (apparently its in competition between van to be the best place to live for forginers) theres so much going on - first the grande prix, then theres swinmming (which is still going on) then there as a wine a food festival, the something called festival which was ... AWESOME it was arts and curics stuff and drama and interpretive dance. I loved it even if I had to sit on the top of a hill in the freezing cold wind. Its been really qwuite cold- it was hot then it rained and lately its been 18-20 but cool winds. Ive wore pants and my sweatshirt when ever Im outside. but its tootally a priviledge to be here and to have threse mostly free things, unfortuntally the next festival is comedy and its not free at all.

so things are going good, its going to be some crazy work scedual for the next week (which Im not worried about just thinking $$$ at the moment) then it might completely die (which Im kind of scared of but Ill deal with that when it happens) Im kind of looking for a "private" place with N but at the same time with the extra $45 (or even 26$ that itll cost me for transportation Im not sue I want to move- the city also has lots of food which is bad because then I want to go out and eat)
