Located on the northwest corner of the Kyushu Island, the small Japanese prefecture of Saga is mostly rural, save for the urban centers of Saga City and Karatsu. A region known for the beautiful porcelain that is created there, Saga also contains a castle in Karatsu and the remains of a Yayoi village in Yoshinogari which are popular tourist destinations.
