The main Bolivian town on Lake Titikaka, Copacabana is a warm, friendly town with that small town feel. Visitors will find great food, drink, and hospitality in Copacabana, perhaps before taking a boat out onto Lake Titikaka or the Isla del Sol (Island of Sun.) One of the lake's largest and most scenic islands, the Isla del Sol also has many important Inca ruins to explore. Tourists also come to Copacabana to see the great shrine, the Basilica of Our Lady of Copacabana, who is the patron saint of Bolivia.
