Today we headed straight to Curry where Kev’s rellie’s live (Beatrice). As we arrived in the small town we had to ask for directions but as always found ourselves lost. We pulled in and asked a little old couple (John & Rosemary Mullhulland) and ended up staying for nearly 2 hours. They absolutely loved the company so the tea/coffee was flowing freely. John called Beatrice for us as we couldn’t make any sense of the number ourselves and we were then on our way- literally 2 mins away! We arrived to the warmest welcome. The house was full with Beatrice’s daughters Mary, Nola, Breege and her 2 kids Jesse and Niall. It took very little time before the ice was broken and we were part of the furniture. We sat for a little while and watched the Irish game of Hurling grand final. It was really good. Limerick won against Kilkenny (incase you were wondering). We then finished organizing our van when Mary and Beatrice insisted on helping with our clothes washing- bless their hearts! As if that wasn’t enough they took us into a nice little town nearby, Charlestown, and demanded they shout us for dinner. We couldn’t believe how genuinely kind and giving they were. There were plenty of laughs over dinner and during the night as we all watched the end of a movie together. They’d organized a very warm and comfy bed for us instead of the van for the night also. What a wonderful end to the day
