Crystal Mountain Ski resort is a very big deal in winter in Washington State.  In summer it is also a great place to visit due to the lack of crowds and such beautiful high mountains surrounding the little resort.

My big disappointment came when I learned the ski lifts which normally operate all year round were down for repairs.  The ride up the slopes would have been spectacular.

I may return next summer to see if they are working.
