I am finally here! It is gorgeous!! The city of Coventry is a few miles away, so Warwick is totally in the countryside. It looks like it is in a forest, I love it!! I have been spending most of my time with Erin and Crystal (from UC Berkely and UCSD). Erin and I aren't in our actual dorms yet, but Crystal is, and she's in my dorm (Westwood). Her room is huge. Probably 150% bigger than UCLA's dorms, but everyone has a single! And the kitchens aren't bad either. The prices are also much better here, so that is a relief. Stupid London...

So we are still trying to figure out how to get around campus. Also trying to decide what groups to join. I am thinking of either swimming or yoga... For swimming, you don't have to compete, you can just go and use to pool up to 13 hours per week. And yoga would just be fun (Julie understands me on this one, haha. What's that one I can't do??). But deal with that later. I also can't decide if I want a job or not. If I do, I have to open a British bank account, but I might want to do that anyway, though not sure if I need to. We'll see... I just need to try and figure out how long my money will last me. The main thing is that I don't want to find myself not able to travel because I had to spend all my money on food here. Sigh...

Other than that... we haven't been up to too much. Just trying to figure things out. We decided that we are glad that we aren't in the Orientation. One of these days we will have to take the bus to Coventry and check that out. Okay, I need to shower and sleep. Keep in touch everyone! You can always email me. I'll send you guys my address as soon as I get it. (Sorry, no pictures this time)

Hi Amy! I am so proud of you- the university sounds fabulous-- what fun :-) Can't wait to hear about all of your travels throughout the year... Send me your address so I can send off some California goodies for those long rainy UK days... And of course you know my vote is for YOGA ;-) Love always-Karen

The school sounds fantastic. For some reason I am picturing a robin hood-esq type of setting. I think you would enjoy yoga and it would be so good for you. Take care and be safe. Love, Mom
