Woah, so we managed to get out of La Paz alive ironically after tasting the best steak...on the last day what are the chances!
Left in the pouring rain...it seems to be a tell tale sign to leave!
Barter our way a taxi to the ´cemetery district´sounds eerie looks bloody dodgy...need a knife there to stay safe at night for sure!! No sooner had we stopped some guy thrust a 1 pound ticket to copacabana so we took it and got bundled into a rickety bus along with our stuff which dissappeared and outcome the drug stitching up worries! I managed to spend the journey with two wasted Bolivians while Owen slept...fun!
Got a lovely lil rickety barge across the straights, seeing your coach and all ur stuff bob along a lake isnt the most reassuring sight!
Arrived at copacabana and got a one pound hostel which we later found out has a guy with silver teeth who operates your shower by peeking over the cubicle to see when your done....scary like something out of james bond!!
Copacabana was good stop over town full of hippie haunts and sketchy money vendors but no atms...
We woke to hurrendous thunderstorms which delayed our sailing plans and getting to the Isla del Sol. So we got a 1pm boat and took the 1.5 trip over enjoying the sun and cool breeze next bit Isla del Sol...
