We arrived by train and as you cross the Rhine the Dom dominates the skyline. It is such a striking feature of the city. It is a UNESCO site and once you are there you will understand why. When we were there some areas were being restored. It is so impressive it is hard to put into words. It is a must see for anyone going to Cologne.
