Sunning by a posh hotel pool, waited on hand and foot with cool beer and pakora. I feel out of place, but damn it's good.
Kashi Cafe, the epitome of european sophistication, displaced with a flavour of india. Jazz, art and coffee.
Sunset over huge swinging fishing nets.
An eclectic bunch of funny travellers from all corners of the world, gathered with the purpose of amazing experiences, mind expansion, intense discussion and good times. Also, special tea.
Visually stunning Kathakali performances. Amazing drumshowmanship. Incredible face wobbling and shouting. I didn't have a clue what was going on, but that's not what it's about. The fat man with the cymbals was damn annoying though.
Racing madly after a stolen wallet on borrowed motorbikes. The police response was amazing, the second we reported it 3 cars screamed off, 10 officers bustled about loading guns and filling in forms. They must have lots of time on their hands, or be bored of extorting bribes and setting up drug deals. We found it ourselves in the end with a little leg (and fist) work.
Ideas form, reasons change, plans morph. The flip of a coin decided my fate.
