Since our last entry we have covered lots of ground. From the internet cafe in clifden, we went home the scenic route via Kylemore Abbey. Its a spectacular place that used to be a nunnery but now a school. Left Carna for Killarney via Galway and the cliffs of Moher. We were lucky at the cliffs, it stopped raining just for us, for the big walk up to the lookout. It was very windy. Apparently a girl was blown off the edge the other day, to her death.
Since then it has rained non-stop. But we're in Ireland, what else should we expect?!
Made our way down to Killarney, Co. Kerry, to see the McSweeney pub. We found it! But..... the hotel part was closed for the week! only open on weekends. Bummer! So we stayed across the road. Close enough!
Today we drove the Ring of Kerry, it rained the whole time but at least there wasnt any fog. We could see for miles, thanks to windscreen wipers. Now we're in Cobh - a little island just south of cork. Its famous for being the last stopover for the titanic. Its a cute little port. The buildings here are amazing - very hard to describe but the town is almost built into the hillside. We are staying at the Commodore Hotel *insert posh voice here* with a harbour view, thanks to low season discounted prices!

Tomorrow we are heading to the Blarney Castle to kiss the stone so that we can lie for 7 years. Legally. Then off to Waterford, the long way. We'll update from dublin :)
