“I think I had a few drops too many” |
First of all, to those of you who were able to come, thank you so much! It meant so much to see all of you there!
As you might have guessed if you didn't already understand, there was a celebration.
- The 3 B's party - I decided it would be a great idea for some colleagues, family, and friends to get together for three main reasons: 1. To wish Veronique and Eva a BIENVENUE (Welcome to America). 2. To wish me a Bon Voyage (Good Trip) for France. 3. To wish me a Happy 30th Birthday (Sept. 10).
So, we met at OHANA, a Japanese restaurant on City Island. We began with tasty beverages and several sushi plates. Here, we got to know meet, and begin conversing. We then moved into the main room to be entertained by the chef and to continue our conversations. By the reactions, I see that everyone left pleased. Even though there were so many photos, I think I had a few drops too many - as a result, there are some blurred pictures I kept off line.
Also, thanks for the video messages, as they will help remind me that there are anglophones who love me back home!
