The Italian Riviara Cinque Terre

Sorry I have not written in a while. I did not have access to a computer in my town that I was staying. Anyway, I am not in Rome, but here is the breakdown of my Cinque Terre trip...I LOVED IT!!! It was so beautiful and relaxing. On the weekend it was a little crowded, but It was worth it. One day one when I got there I went to the office at Mar Mar to check in. They only take cash. (He is making a fortune!) Then an American girl led me to my room up the hill. This is not a small incline, but an incline that makes your calfs ache. Not to mention that I am carrying a TON of weight on my back. Then I get to the building and she tells me we have 3 flights of stairs to go up (which would have been bad enough), and they are all extremely tall and steep stairs. After I almost die going yup the stairs she shows me to my room. It is a room with 2 beds and a bathroom outside of the room that we share with 2 other people. I never saw the people in the other room. It was nice. It was actually an apartment that they made into a rental. It was awesome for 20 euro. The shower was a little small and the bathroom light did not always work, but it was clean and small. That night I went out with my roomie from Canada, Michelle. We met up with a guy at dinner and asked him if he would like to share our table. He was alone. He comes to Cinque Terre a lot, and is staying 2 weeks this time. Last time he stayed for 6 months! Cool huh! Anyway, dinner was good. I had some seafood which was awesome!! Then I was off to the room. They went to the bar, and I was pooped. The second day Michelle and I went to the market and got some strawberries to have with our cae and crossant. Then we were off ont he hiking trail. The group tended to go very fast and I wanted to take pictures and take my time. (Also I am very out of shape!) I stayed up with the group for a while, but I wanted to get the great pictures that I came for. I met up with them in the 3rd town (Vernazza) to eat the BEST pizza and gelato EVER!!! Then I went to explore that town a little. They went on to do the rest of the hike. It was so hot and I knew the hard part was next so I chickened out. I went to eat at a little place in the first town called Monterosso. It was really good and I enjoyed myself. Then the next day I did the other part of the the hike. It was unbelievable. Really!! When Iget my pictures up online you are going to die! Anyway, I finished upt he hike the next day after that. I ended up going to a place for lunch and I had a really good mussel soup!!! I could eat it all the time! Then It was time for me to leave Cinque Terre. I took the train to La Speiza and I was waiting for my train to termini (Roma). Our train was delayed by 15 minutes. Then another train pulled in and they said it was for Roma Termini. Well....I lucked out because Although it was not the train I was supposed to be on, it still went to the termini. It was a very pretty ride though. So here I am in Alessandro's Palace again. I will try to update again, but I need to shower first.
