The four of us made it to campus fine, but during registration we got seprated since we were all scattered in different dorms. My flat is really nice; we each have a single room and there's a good sized living room/dining area and a kitchen that's already stocked with flatware and all that other good stuff. All my flatmates are great; I'm living with 4 guys and 1 girl, which seemed a little weird at first, but it's totally fine now. And everyone is super nice! Wes, one of my flatmates, took me into the center of town right away to get a bus pass and to take me to the grocery store for some essentials, but I was SO tired. Once I got back to my room, I tried to stay awake unpacking etc., and I was really bummed that I had not way to get in contact with my other Wheaties since there's no directory here. But Ella found me a few hours later and brough Nick with her since he lives right across the hall from her. She had some bad news since she had a major housing mixup and is in a dorm with a bunch of freshman, and she's not on the meal plan but has no kitchen. So that's a bit of a problem, but hopefully it will all get fixed soon. She's just going to cook here until everything is settled out.
I showed Nick and Ella around downtown like Wes had for me, and then we hunted down Liana in Ilam Village which is only a 5-10 minute walk from our dorms. We're all still trying to get used to the layout of the campus--which, incidentally, seems abosultely HUGE compared to Wheaton since Uni is 12,000 and Wheaton is only 1,200. But by the time the three of us walked back to our dorms, we walked through the courtyard and had a pleasant surprise since there was a free BBQ! So we didn't have to worry about trying to cook half asleep, which was nice. After dinner, I came back to the flat and just hung out with my mates and got know them a bit better before crawling to bed. Loooong day :)
