Don't you love when you get to a hotel with a bunch of bags, it's freezing cold, there's no bellman outside and the bellman inside watches as you carry your bags in (one at a time since only the revolving door is operating at this hour).  Seriously ...  the last thing I need after working an entire day, spending hours at an airport, getting dicked over and treated like crap by the airlines, waiting 2 hours for luggage and realizing I have about 5 hours until I need to be at work is not even being able to carry my bags into the hotel because all they have is a revolving door.

Aside from that the hotel was pretty nice.  Has that classic historic hotel feel to it with modern luxories.  There is a seat in the elevator.  Is this actually something someone saw as a problem?  Imean the hotel only had like 23 floors.  Sure it is an old elevator and was kind of slow.  But I never really have been in a elevator and just decided that the ride was just too long and I needed to sit down.  Now MAYBE in the 90 floor eleveator of the coach insignia resturant at the Renaissance Center in Detroit.  But asisde from that.  Oh yeah and the TVs in the elevator.  Really?  Like I am missing something by spendng 2 inutes in an elevator.  Now  know in college I used to drink too much and passout in the elevator for a few hours.  A chair and TV definately could have helped here.  But in a 23 floor hotel?  Not so sure...
