I haven't updated in a while, been lazy I guess.
I switched camps. This guy Tyler, from Vancouver BC & I walked around town & we found another camp, Chay Yai. The guy Nom took us out to the camp, which is in the countryside & the training was so much better. Everyone got lots of 1 on 1 time, unlike @ Lanna where it was more focused on conditioning & not technique. This new camp is great. You get a lot of one on one training, the only problem is it seems like every trainer says something different. Hoe to move around, how to throw the kick, & I can't explain that another told me to do it different, but oh well.
This camp also trains Thais, they have a lot of Thai kids that fight. One is 16 & has had 40 fights, another 17 (looks like he is 8) & has 51 fights. There is also a 12 yo who is a bad ass, he cruises around on a motorcycle & has a couple tats. A couple of the trainers were also Lumpinee champs. 1 had his nose crushed or something when defending his belt so he can't fight anymore - his nose is all caved in now, wierd. This camp is much more family like too, which is nice - and managed by a Thai & not a farang - white guy.
