China is great, people are wonderful!

A quick stop over at Chendu was a pleasent experience. Met some great people from Hongkong. I stayed with them in the same room and ate and drank with them.

Now in Nanning. Stay was wonderful. Was invited into a wonderful families home great company and delisous food. Went to the market with the cook Mei. She bought a whole duck head, feet, and all. The chicken was alive. Yes, I would say it was fresh. Not done yet. Mei bought live crabs. She pick each one out one at a time. As I tell me friends the People are always the hightlight of my trips. Time is flying by and more to come. Nanning is a city of 2 million people near the Vietnam boarder. It is very humid and it rains every day. Peaple ride bike and motorcycles in the rain with no problem. Would like to stay longer, but I am a week behind now. I have not seen a westerner sence I have been here. People look at me very starangely.

Tomorrrow to Guilin. It is suppose to be a very beautiful place. I will be riding a hard seat train for seven hours, with a bony but. I hope I will survive.
