Homeward Bound

It is almost 5 in the morning.  I have been awake for over an hour.  Dad woke me up at 3:30 when he went to the bathroom, then Mom got up.  I tried going back to sleep, but ended up tossing and turning.  I finally got up and came online.  Dad is snoring blissfully away while I'm wide awake!  I think I'll go play a game or two, then try to get a little more sleep before I'm woken up again.  :P

Well, I ended up getting a few more hours of sleep.  I felt so groggy.  I got ready, then went down to the lobby for breakfast.  Waffles for me, please!  We checked out, then stopped at Mall of Georgia because Dad had a $20 gift certificate for Dick's.  We were there for about 30 minutes, then headed North on 85 for home.

We arrived safely back at home at just after 3.  I got everything unpacked and almost all of it put away before Gary, Delia and Zack got to the house at 4:30.  We ventured out searching for a place to eat.  Not a whole lot was open, so we decided on Copeland's.

After eating, we came back to the house, sat around talking and watched the first "Spiderman" movie that was on TV.  We also had some Mango Champagne and Coconut Rum Cake.  Yum!  (It was Gary & Delia's anniversary.)  We were all tired, so we headed for bed pretty early.  I read for a while before going to sleep.
