“Your Own Island” |
A beautiful, simplistic in-your-face-nature chill spot. Whether you prefer sipping fruit cocktails, or some ice cold beers while watching the sun set, you can’t get any better than this place. Although the island is small, it sets the mood for some romantic ideas (although it grosses me out to think of the happenings in the past on that bed that I laid in).
There’s only ten cabins/rooms on the island. For it’s tiny land mass, I was surprised that there was running water, and a hot shower available (although you probably would prefer a cold shower since it’s always hot) in the rooms.
The area is perfect for scuba diving, snorkeling or lounging. I tried the snorkeling since I didn’t have the license or equipment to scuba dive, and it was awesome. The water is clear all the way down to the island shelf, and an explosion of vibrant colored fish roam the water, from clown fish to sword fish, they would swim right up to you, curious if you had brought some fish food for them.
I will definitely miss that place. This is a definite must-see place if you’re ever around the area.
