Tomorrow is the day. The day Danny and I leave for Demo...

And today?

Today was supposed to be my half day, but wouldn't ya know it, I have to clean my tent spotless, as it will be used as a store tent after we leave. Lee is moving into another tent, so this means cleaning the cooker, two fridges, beanies, etc. to 'customer clean' satisfaction.

ARGGGHHHH!!!!!

I am so darn tired, and I want to sleep! I am sat here in my grease marked uniform, from cleaning BBQs... Grease streaks across my legs, hands, feet, and even face! My hair needs a brush run through it... AHh... such a stylish minx am I... Last night we went off-site (although only just across the road) for some drinks at a touristy bar (I forget the name) for this Irish chick, Jean's leaving night. I stayed long enough to be social and down a Caiprihnia (not the best I've had), before staggering home with a splitting headache, as the others continued on to a cheesy club next door.รน

Joyous!

Today I walked into a door edge, and have a nice red mark across my forehead. This must be how I manage to accumulate bruises all over my body without realising it. I randomly walk into things ALL THE TIME. What is with that? The plus factor is that I haven't fallen off my bike yet, and it's been almost 2 weeks.

I hope Demo is a laugh. Gemma said she's spoken to Paul (I think he's currently at Lake Maggiore, by the Swiss border, although I could be mistaken), and so far he's collected 4 of the Demo team and they're all guys. Danny wasn't too happy about that. One's apparently ex-Army, so I'm expecting lots of heroic stories, and erm...

Yes...

I think by the time we arrive tomorrow there should be some more people. Wonder if any girls will materialise, or if I'll be stuck as the only one. That'd be weird, but not so bad, I guess. Maybe I'd get all the easy work that way!  =)

Hmmm... can't really think of much else. I've posted this entry from 'Cavallino' as I guess that's more accurate than 'Venice' as I've been putting before. Not sure when I'll be online next, but I'm sure I'll be either far perkier and 'Wow, I'm having an amazing time' or 'Erm... I ran away and am now in Morocco'. Either way, hopefully it'll make a far more interesting read than 'I polished some pots and then dusted the top of the radiator, before eating a yoghurt and retiring to my abode'.

Toodle pip, folks. Thanks for tuning in...
