Only 108.75 hours until departure, which turns out to not be very much time at all. Time perhaps to pick up laundry, to write extensive memos, to approve budgets, to purchase toothpaste, to leave needlessly complicated household management summaries for surrogate housekeeping volunteers. Time in a pinch for conference calls, advance bill payments, mail retention, payroll procurement, pet food supplies, prefertilized houseplant sustenance. Time if you must insist for sleep, surprises yet to come at work, random well-wishing and lots of hugs.

Struggle as we might with our days in Casper, doing more than we really ought to be trying to do for folks and friends and government, separating ourselves is still sweet sorrow all the same.

But on the other side of this trip are old friends, new cities and a moon cycle worth of adventures. We hope you enjoy the sights and stories along with us.
