David woke us up early to get the boat to Capri and somehow he read his watch wrong so we were an hour early. It didnt matter anyway because the timetable changed and there was no boat for quite some time. Meagan didnt mind because it meant that she could have some more strong Italian coffee.
We got out there with the sole intention to see the blue grotto. We got off the boat willing to pay as much as we needed to see it and unfortunalty for us the sea was too rough that day and the grotto was closed. We were devistated. We still enjoyed ourselves though. It is very much a rich beachside island. Everything is so white and clean and expensive. We filled in time by going on a huge chairlift to one of the higher cliffs (Meagan was very brave) and wandering through some nice gardens.
That night we had to catch an overnight train to our next destination Sicily. The only problem was that we had to hang out at the Naples station until 10 30pm - We had a system of watching each others backs!
