Hi all
Just a quick note to let you all know I am now in Turkey. Loving it. Its dirty, smelly, but beautiful at the same time.
Have beent o the speice bazaar, grande bazaar, Blue Mosq, Sophias, its all go. This tour involves a truck rather than a bus so still getting accustomed to bouncing along their not so well maintained roads.
Not too much else to report except its hot. 34 deg at the mo & its nearly midnight.
Anyway. Hope you are all well & wonderful. The internet in this corner of the world is not so great so will update you all when I get back to London in two weeks.

Hi Lou. Yep the Middle East sure is different. The architecture is amazingly beautiful & the people are so friendly & helpful but I am making the most of it as I wont do this again. Am in Syria now & although I am a little nervous I have decided to trust in the local guide theyve hired for us & enjoy it. Hopefully making it back to London in one peice in about 2 weeks!!
