Our intention when we came to Goa was to make our way South via the coast. Candolim was a kind of halfway stop off point. It was like any package tourist place and we couldn't wait to get away, however, we did take part in a salsa class.... which means.... my knee is better! No hobbling, no pain, THE END!
Whilst we were staying in Candolim, we took a bus to Panaji, the capital city of Goa. The Portugese influence is really noticable in the architecture and general European feel on the streets here. When we walked down some of the little side streets we could have mistaken the place for a Mediterranean town.
