“The Best Hotel I've Stayed In Yet!” |
The service at the Riu Palace Las Americas is outstanding. My husband had emailed a few weeks before we arrived to say we were honeymooners and when we arrived they said, oh you are honeymooners, hold on...and upgraded us to a suite free of charge! The all inclusive deal was well worth the money as you have 5 restaurants and a buffet to choose from. The buffet was huge and the food at the restaurants was amazing. You have a choice of Steakhouse, Tapas, Japanese, Brazillian and Gourmet and I have never been so full up in all my life! The waiting staff are always so polite and friendly, always wanting to help you with your chair or perform tricks with cutlery. They are obviously hoping for a tip but they never make you feel as if you have to give one, although they do work so hard that they deserve it. There's also a few bars to choose from, special mention goes to Abundio for his mudslides and Rodolfo for his sunrises...mmmmm! And a big thank you to the waiter on the beach who brought me glass after glass of fanta everyday as I chilled on my sunlounger. If it's a luxurious holiday that you're after, you won't go wrong with this hotel. I want to go back right now!
